Press - Specially designed for tertiary institutions. The
L1200 is one of the largest litho presses on the market. Pressure Mechanism - On all our presses, the pressure
is applied using a cam mechanism with a height adjustment screw.
This has been engineered to give excellent feedback to the operator
and repeatability of pressure while offering a simple and reliable
system. A shock absorber is incorporated to assist the action
of the pressure lever on the larger machines. Bed Construction -The beds on the L700, L900 and L1200
presses are from solid timber pieces, sealed and then capped with
rubber sheet and 1.5mm galvanised sheetmetal capping. Drive plates
are attached to the underside of the bed. This construction method
results in a durable bed which is resilient and forgiving. Drive Mechanism - On all Artequip Lithographic Presses,
the drive is through a gearing mechanism to the drive roller.
On the L900 and L1200 press, a clutch mechanism allows the hand-wheel
to be disengaged, giving the bed a free return action. Warranty - Special care has been taken to ensure that
our presses survive the harsh environment of the printmaking studio.
All metal is either electroplated or is coated with an industrial
grade enamel. Our presses are covered by a two year warranty and
are designed to last many more. |
